Just wanted to thank Tim Bessell, from Windansea at La Jolla for taking me surfing. Over the past 18 years weve had a few of Tims boards pass through the shop and when I was in California I wanted to go and see his shop. He was such an amazing guy, he showed me around his factory gave me his latest model to try out the 'Notch Crocket'and took me surfing. It made my whole trip.
I absolutely was blown away by both models, the notch crocket was one of the loosest boards Ive ever ridden, so fast it felt like a skateboard, and the assymmetrical quad was awesome to ride backhand, very fast very positive off the bottom but very responsive in the pocket. Im so stoked with his boards, his store was like a candy shop. The finish on the boards were what can i say perfection, more like pieces of art, his carbon boards and parabollic models were insane and the gloss finishes were gorgeous.
Im emailing him now to get some boards over, if you'd be interested in any of his models, give us a shout on shop@troggs.com.
