Please comment, should I enter this picture of Al into the Mannanan Big Wave Challenge?

I think most of the entries so far have been posted from reef breaks with easy user friendly channels, i think this wave of Al's is pretty impressive as it's much harder to ride waves of this size when the peaks are shifting.

All the same well done Alistair, it was a pleasure to watch you catch some ot the biggest rideable waves Ive ever seen in the Port in the last 15 years.

Andy, the photos are awesome, i honestly can believe the sheer size of east on wedensday and i cant even begin to contemplate what sorta power they wer holding, all i can say is god help anyone who got their balls rolled in that. amazing photograhy and easly the biggest(cleanest) waves ive ever seen in portrush. - Brendan

yes mate, awesome photos, me and my mate were gonna go up but then he had to go to a tutorial!!I was half way to train, realised I forgot my money, then missed the bloody thing!Don't think iv ever been quite as annoyed! Still recovering!

Nice bottom turn on a beast of a wave AL. For those that have'nt surfed BIG EAST this is a wave of consequnce I imagine some sound thrashings where dealt out this BIG day.
Again coker pics Andy, never before has the north shore surf scene been so well documented, It is refreshing for someone to get out there in the cold and wet for hours behind the lens.
Perhaps you should pen a little article for Carve magazine I am sure they would document these cracking photos!

This is the only shot to represent the causeway.I dont surf much over here but that looks like a fair size considering big al is well over 6' tall! All the other shots in for the comp don't look as nasty as these ones, bet there were a couple a beatings that day.
